Welcome to the most mind-bending bullet hell experience you've ever encountered! In Phantom SyncTG, you're not just dodging bullets—you're mastering the art of dimensional displacement and tactical teleportation all while the clock ticks down!

 

🚀 The Phantom Ship System

You pilot a ship that exists in two states simultaneously, but only one is active:

• 🟢 Green Mode: Your 4 option ships spread out in a tight formation, perfect for focused firepower
• 🔵 Cyan Mode: Your options follow you in a snake-like trail, ideal for coverage and mobility

Ghost Mechanics 👻

Here's where things get wild—your other ship is a ghost ship that appears on the opposite side of the screen! This phantom double is key to your survival and strategy.

🔫 SHOOT

• Regular Fire: Rapid-fire bullets from you and all 4 options
• Super Shots: Mode Switch after landing a hit to unlock powerful golden projectiles for a few seconds
• Hyper Shots: Reflect Super Shots off a Bomb to create fan-spread shots that dynamically adjust—the lower you are on screen, the wider the spread!

⚡ MODE SWITCH

Toggle between your Green and Cyan ship positions to close the gap with distant enemies or dodge entire bullet curtains! But keep an eye on your active ship so you don’t get clipped!

🎯 FOCUS

Hold to enter precision mode:

• Slow down your movement for tight dodging
• Tighten your shot spread for concentrated damage in green mode
• Freeze your options in their current positions in cyan mode—they lock into a rigid formation that moves with you

👻 BLINK

Instantly teleport to your ghost's location with your current ship for emergency escapes or better positioning. Use your phantom double as a "safety net" to plan risky maneuvers and execute last-second saves. Leaning on this over Mode Switching will mean lower DPS, so use it wisely!

💣 BOMB

Sacrifice a life to drop a devastating screen-clearing bomb. But here's the twist:

• Bombs inherit your current mode's color
• Pick up a bomb matching your mode = gain your life back
• Pick up or shoot the opposite color = immediate detonation
• Bombs will reflect your Super Shots into Hyper Shots (which do even more damage) and can extend the spread of your ship’s shot beyond its limits!

 

🧠 Advanced Tactics

🔗 Chain System (WIP)

String together kills with Super/Hyper shots to build massive score chains. Watch that orange timer—keep the chain alive for maximum points! I’m still figuring out how to integrate chaining into the score but it’s important that you maintain a steady stream of Super/Hyper shots (meaning you’ll need to be Mode Switching a lot)!

Adaptive Strategy

Many enemies will spawn on the opposite side of the screen of your active ship, encouraging you to Mode Switch. Some enemies are big and will act as stage hazards. Other enemies change behavior as you destroy their parts—some get faster, others lose control, and some can even regenerate! Adapt your approach as the battle evolves.

Risk Management

• Time Pressure: Your score constantly decreases—aggression is rewarded!
• Life Extensions: Reach score milestones (50, 100, 200) to gain extra lives (there will be more extends in the full game)
• Ghost Positioning: Always know where your phantom is—it's your lifeline (but always watch your active ship when you are in battle)!

Phantom SyncTG isn't just about surviving—it's about mastering patterns. The Stage Select menu is your personal training dojo, allowing you to jump directly to any specific enemy wave to practice and perfect your techniques. Instead of playing through entire levels to reach that one tricky enemy formation, you can:

• Isolate specific threats: Practice against single enemy types
• Master difficult combinations: Jump straight to waves that mix multiple enemy types with overlapping attack patterns
• Perfect your timing: Replay waves that require precise mode switching or ghost positioning

Phantom SyncTG rewards both lightning reflexes and tactical thinking. Every mode switch, ghost positioning, and bomb decision shapes your survival. Master the phantom, and master the battlefield! 🌟
